- What: The Menu Search (MNS) tool adds a new feature to the standard Dynamics AX client toolbar. A search box appears in the toolbar, to allow users to quickly access menu items, without having to navigate through the menu itself. Users will have instant familiarity with this feature as it is also available in the Windows Start button (in Windows Vista and 7).
- When: You wish you didn’t have to look through all of the menus to find what you’re looking for. Was that in Basic or Admin?
- Why: Using this tool saves time, especially when trying to locate an option which isn’t frequently used.
