- What: The Documents as a Resource (DAR) tool is perfect if you’ve ever wanted to attach a complete modification spec document to a development project or XPO. Create resources of file types PDF, XPS, DOC and DOCX, and include them in your projects. You can also view the PDF and XPS document resources directly in the standard previewer (Word docs can be launched directly in Word to view). Documents are stored in the application together with the modifications
- When: You wish you could remember why/who/when we wrote this. You can’t remember exactly where you keep copies of all of our specifications and have to search for it.
- Why: Provide a central place for all developers to refer to documentation about modifications and reduce the time to find and review those documents. Ensure that specification documents are never lost so that they can be referred to in the future.
